The Feast of Saint Martha

Well, well, well. Lookie here...

The Feast of Saint Martha
(1st century)

Patron of dieticians, hemophiliacs, housewives, landlords, waitresses and women workers.

She was Christ's busy hostess at her home in Bethany; on her behalf, He raised her brother Lazurus from the dead. She is alleged to have traveled to France, where she tamed a dragon. Another source tells us that Martha sprinkled holy water on this monster to subdue it, then tied him up with her girdle and slew him.

----------------

What I want to know is, why is she the Patron Saint of hemophiliacs?

Some of these things belong together. Some of these things are kinda the same. But one of these things is not like the other. Now it's time to play our game...it's time to play our game.
