And frankly, because I know you soooo well, if you don't name the little peb "that name" then you will always connect the new name with the "wish-I-would-have" name. No need for that stress...we already have too much as it is.

And anyway, your middle name choice is way cooler than theirs could ever be! I ga-ron-tee! (I've been thinking about Paw Paw and G-mother all morning!)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13145649.post-1139248934550311332006-02-06T12:02:00.000-06:002006-02-06T12:02:00.000-06:00I agree. You only get to name them once!Amanda Fortneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11293486633844275178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13145649.post-1139248889991172702006-02-06T12:01:00.000-06:002006-02-06T12:01:00.000-06:00We have fairly good friends who have a daughter na...We have fairly good friends who have a daughter named Caroline, but before she was born, I was chatting with my friend via email, and I told her that if we had a girl next time around, we were going to name her Caroline. I had no idea that's what they were naming their daughter. We both agreed that we didn't "own" the name (same thing - we'd have had different middle names too) and it would not be a problem to have two little Carolines running around, even among friends.

Of course, we're having a boy, so it is a moot point for us. Go ahead and name your baby whatever you like!! (Well, maybe not Eggwyn or something!)

PennyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13145649.post-1139245857784043432006-02-06T11:10:00.000-06:002006-02-06T11:10:00.000-06:00Only two comments and you're already making me fee...Only two comments and you're already making me feel better about it!snarflemarflehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09223903840164022066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13145649.post-1139244220397038192006-02-06T10:43:00.000-06:002006-02-06T10:43:00.000-06:00No one owns a name.
