More Funny Things...

Howdy-no neighbor! Just me...with more funny things my kids say...imagine that!

Here's the setup: Last night we put up the Christmas tree and had dinner in the living room. I got X-man a Sprite and he was very excited because he only gets soda about once a week, so this was fun. Anyway, we were done with the tree and X-man was standing by the fireplace. All I could see from the couch was from his chest up.

He looked at me a little concerned and said, "Uuuhhh, dere are two tings going on here." I looked at him, giggled a bit and asked him what he said...I wasn't sure I understood. "Mommy, dere are two tings..."

Daddy gets the bright idea to ask him what was happening. What a smarty! =)

X-man said, "This drink spilled [his sprite was all over the fireplace] and I tee-teed in my pants." The fact that he said this so matter-of-factly just cracked me up! I'm going to have to remember to be so calm when stuff all around me is falling apart!

This afternoon when X-man got up from his nap, he asked me if he could play a computer game. I told him yes and he gave me a big hug and said, "That makes my heart feel better!" I'm pretty sure he meant playing on the computer and not the hug. In fact, at school before Thanksgiving the kids all made turkeys and the teacher wrote what they were thankful on it. X-man was thankful for playing on the computer.
