I made it myself...

...out of my old bra!

^Starshine, maybe you should carry one of these around while you're bra shopping so you won't feel so self-conscious!

*Just to clarify, I have not actually made one of these.

Dang you, Dr. J!

So Dr. J posted about stumbling upon a fun website. Well, it's only fun if you enjoyed being frustrated trying to figure out very obvious riddles. Oh, and they're obvious in that now-that-I-know-the-answer-it's-obvious sorta way.

Last night I had to go to bed without figuring out one of the riddles. Again, quite obvious, but not. So, I went to bed thinking about the puzzle and I had the weirdest dream. And in my dream, the answer was "banana." It was so obviously not the right answer, but I tried it anyway. I was right, that wasn't it.

I've made it to level 19 and now that baby is napping, I can get back to it.

Because I need something else to occupy my time...

Pretty Colors!

I saw this over on Mama C-ta's blog. It's pretty interesting! It's a dot graph (or something) of this website. All the colors are different tags in the code.

Here's what this site looks like...

Check it out!

Whoopie...

What fun. A hypnotist. My church had a music appreciation dinner this evening for the music ministry. It was very nice! We were all served dinner (several classes volunteered to serve the meal), the food was great and they have strolling singers. It was a very nice affair and we all feel appropriately appreciated. Then they let out the big guns...our entertainment was a hypnotist. Now, I know that the planning group (or was it just the one lady?) put a lot of time into this, and I thank them for that. But a hypnotist? Ok, some of it was kinda funny and I laughed a few times. But it was just weird...hypnosis in a church...

I have also learned that my friend Dr. J is not the only one that stumbles across odd websites. I found this one today. I am trying to eat better (as in healthier, not heartier), but this is just too much. Who wants to eat fluffy mackerel pudding?!?

Off to bed. I have an early morning tomorrow...

Lunch Break!

Only a few more minutes before my lunch break is over. I just finished reading A Wrinkle in Time. It was a great book! I can't believe I read it as a kid...there was some heavy stuff in there! I need to remember to pick up the next one (Wind in the Door?) when I get home. Otherwise, I'll be stuck reading the business paper at lunch tomorrow!

These people have too much time on their hands! A little disclaimer: You probably don't want to open the one about the print cartridge at work... I haven't gotten through all of them yet and I really like their highly scientific research methods.

If you are looking for some other odd, interesting or downright strange websites, visit the blog of my friend... The Secret Life of Sneezes. I think I'm going to her for my dose of weird web stuff...
