Just Crash It!

Ok, I have to say that I love, love, love the Toyota commercial. It's not really new, but I've just been noticing it alot in the last week or so.

It's the one with the two little boys and the guy who is crash testing the cars. I just crack up laughing with the little boy says, "Now the Gold one!"
"It's called Desert Sand Mica."
"Whatever, just crash it!"

Oh my gosh...that is hilarious!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Mom and Dad left about 1:30 this afternoon. I had no morning sickness the entire time they were here. How wonderful!!! I was pretty excited about that because one of the main things we do when they're here is EAT! We went to Crabtown for crawdads on Friday, Sushi Neko and Hideaway Pizza on Saturday, Deep Fork Grill on Sunday and then we had Abuelo's for lunch today before they left. And I was able to eat everything! So, maybe that wasn't a good thing. I hope I don't tip the scales on Thursday at my doctor's appointment!

Dad did order something online for me...peppermint barberpoles from Hammonds Candies. We saw them on Food Network's Unwrapped and I mentioned that I always think about ordering from them, but forget. So, I've got a shipment of peppermint and cherry (for TC) barberpoles coming soon. Yummy!

What is wrong with me?

I saw a link to this little video and watched it. I started tearing up! I especially liked the scene with the little baby penguin on the daddy's feet walking along.

I remember dancing with my daddy by standing on his feet. I'm sure I would not do his feet any kind of service if I were to do that today.

And speaking of that, I will get to see mom and dad today! They should be here in about 3 hours! Woo hoo!

Back to the movie...

From what I can tell, the movie started its limited release on June 24th of this year. It doesn't look like it'll be here any time soon. I can buy the soundtrack on Amazon...wonder if they'll have a DVD out, too.

Little Shop...

This looks like something that came out of The Little Shop of Horrors!

Check out this giant flower! Looks like the bloom'll go away in just a few days. Bummer!

I want to see this!

I'm very much interested in seeing this movie. I like Johnny Depp and Tim Burton and I think this'll be fun. Now, I read somewhere that in the movie we're all used to (with Gene Wilder) there are the geese that lay the golden eggs. In this new movie, they're replaced with squirrels. Huh?!?

I also need to start reading some more books by Roald Dahl. I really liked James and the Giant Peach and it was a really quick read.

Where'd it go?

Not that I'm complaining, but where's the morning sickness this morning? It's probably been replaced by this terrible headache I've got. Oh, well. I'll just eat my banana and drink my milk and all will be fine.

I've made a few observations and want to share them here:

1. Ginger ale is the sweet elixir of goddesses...pregnant ones. This stuff just eases my tummy right away.
2. I take way too many pills! In the morning it's not so bad...a Prometrium and today, a Tylenol. At night, it's another Prometrium, two calcium pills and a vitamin. I'm afraid I'm going to have to add a fiber pill to that. Ugh...

Ok, off to find out about local firework shows this weekend!
