Lots of Randomness

Ok, here we go...

. . .

I have a set of adopted parents here. Their older daughter went to college with TC and me and was a bridesmaid at our wedding. Mr. and Mrs. H are great and I'm so glad that we have gotten to be such great friends. Oh, and Mrs. H is very excited about her "grandbaby." Yeah, I'm certain she'll be spoiling Little Pebble...

She and Mr. H brought over our Christmas presents last night and boy, did they hit the mark! They got TC a Paper Airplanes Calendar. Basically, each day you get directions on how to fold a paper airplane. He had one two years ago and loved it! They got me a Crochet Pattern Calendar. It was all I could do to keep from opening it up right there and going through all the patterns! I'm loving the granny squares on the front. And I have some great yarn for that...wonder when I'll get that pattern!

They also got a little Christmas present for the Little Pebble. Mrs. H was worried that she'd lose it between now and next Christmas. It's Baby's First Christmas Songs CD. They're all instrumental. You know, I could play this for LP in February...it won't know the difference!

. . .

We went to visit the Baby Girl and her parents yesterday. Mom and dad are doing fine and the baby, still without a name is still in NICU. The nurses have been calling her Christmas Snow. I did get to go into the ward and see the little thing. She weighed 6lbs 8oz and was 20 inches long. She had a little plastic hood over her head and a few things hooked up to her. Her little tummy was just pulsating trying to get the breathing regulated. I know that Christmas Snow will be fine, but it just pains me to think about the mom not being able to hold her little baby. I hope she gets better soon. It's going to be a rough few months having to deal with her breathing issues.

. . .

What else? Hmmm...

I don't think I'll be back before Christmas, so

Merry Christmas!!
