No News is Good News

Sorry about the no-post weekend. It was really uneventful and when I wasn't up doing something, I was asleep on the couch.

On Saturday after lunch, we decided to walk around the mall. We went into several baby clothing stores, but not much grabbed my attention. See? It's a good thing that we didn't find out the sex of the baby early. Otherwise, I'd be wanting to buy all kinds of clothes that we probably don't really need!

I wanted to stop at James Avery and see what kind of baby charms they had. I've got a pretty full charm bracelet (and yes, I still wear it!) and I like fun charms to mark special times. Anyway, they did have some baby shoes.

The JA store happens to be next to the local jewelry store. If you're from these parts, you know their annual Christmas "Anniversary Sale" television/radio jingle. Now that's a tune that gets stuck in your head!

Anyway, we walked in and TC went straight to the David Yurman counter. One of the salesmen came up to us and TC said, "We would like to look at your David Yurman pieces that have February's birthstone."

Awwwww...what a sweet guy!

So, we looked at the bracelets, necklaces and rings that had amethysts. Yea, purple! All of them were in the cable style since that's the style of all my other pieces. We decided that I'd think about what I'd rather have, but I think I'd rather have TC pick out the piece that's his favorite. I liked all of the pieces! I told him that if he picked a ring, we'd have to wait several months to purchase it because I'm not sizing a ring on these sausage fingers right now!

The rest of Saturday and Sunday were mostly boring. Oh, but I did get all of my stamping stuff delivered and I've already mounted all the stamp sets (you have to put them together yourself...makes them a tad cheaper that way).

Off to work...my last week!

I can still remember going with my hubby and TC down to the jewelers before your wedding. I remember him picking out your earrings....
Memories....:)
