A-OK!

The boy is doing well. And we survived the trip to the doctor's office. Good thing it's at the hospital and only a few minutes away...it wore me out!

X-man's weight: 8 lbs
Length: 20 inches

So, he's 4 ounces over his birth weight. That means good. And that he's eating well...and enough. You know, it would be much easier if the boobs were clear so you could actually see if he was eating something. As it is, you have to just listen to the swallowing and there's always the tale-tell milk mustache after a good dinner.

Oh, and can I just say that a baby "drunk" on breastmilk is about the cutest thing you've ever seen? X-man just gets all loll-eyed and loll-headed after eating. With milk dripping down his chin and sleepy looking, I can hardly stand it!

I talked to the doctor about X-man's excessive tooting. Well, it seems excessive to me. No biggie. I got some Mylicon drops and will use those after feedings where he doesn't burp like a sailor.

Other than that, he's all good and in the 25th percentile for height and weight and is just below the 50th percentile for his head size. The next appointment will be his 2 month check up and there will be shots at that one. I better prepare now.
